“His determination to succeed and his willingness to learn and constantly improve will definitely help him throughout his life.”Īfter graduation from Cheltenham High School and EASTERN’s Electrical Technology program, Fred plans to join the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 98 Union after taking his entrance exam in April 2017. ![]() “Fred is a hard worker with an exceptional work ethic,” said Gary Felmey, EASTERN’s Electrical Technology Instructor. One of his favorite youth group activities is feeding the homeless. He is also actively involved with his church and its youth leadership group. At Cheltenham High School, he was chosen as a Student of the Month in 2014. ![]() He was chosen by his instructor last summer as part of the student team from the Electrical Technology class to install new wiring throughout the building. As a sophomore at Cheltenham High School, he visited EASTERN’s Open House and decided to come for a tour and visited several programs, finding the Electrical Technology program the right fit for him.Īt EASTERN, Fred is a Schoolwide Officer for SkillsUSA, EASTERN’s student leadership organization. Ten students each year are selected for this honor.įred always knew he wanted a career in which he worked with his hands. ![]() The Student of the Month Award is sponsored by EASTERN’s faculty, Joint Committee and the Willow Grove Rotary Club to highlight student excellence, success and service. He is in EASTERN’s Electrical Technology program and a senior at Cheltenham High School. Fred Fox is the November 2016 Student of the Month at Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) in Willow Grove.
